Musical Numbers Announced For BROADWAY ON BROADWAY® With Host Kelsey Grammer

Musical numbers for the 2010 Broadway on Broadway concert (www.broadwayonbroadway.com) were announced today by The Broadway League and the Times Square Alliance. La Cage Aux Folles star Kelsey Grammer will host the 19th annual concert, which is presented by HUE Leggings and Continental Airlines and officially sponsored by The New York Times, to be held this Sunday, September 12th at 11:30am in Times Square. The annual free outdoor concert brings together stars and performances from current and upcoming Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the Broadway season. For the 3 rd consecutive year, Alex Lacamoire will be the Musical Director of Broadway on Broadway .

For the spectacular Broadway on Broadway finale, Lin-Manuel Miranda ( In The Heights ) and Karen Olivo ( West Side Story , In The Heights ) will be performing “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys!

As a special treat, a chorus of 20 children from Camp Broadway will be performing with the cast of The Phantom of the Opera .

Broadway on Broadway kicks off Back2Broadway Month ( www.ILoveNYTheater.com ). Back2Broadway Month celebrates Broadway overall and highlights the new season with free events, special ticket offers, great dining deals, talkbacks, concerts, interactive activities and more.

Bike To Broadway!
As part of Broadway on Broadway there will be free, secure valet bicycle parking between 9am and 2pm in the Broadway Plaza between 42nd and 43rd Streets. The Times Square Alliance is partnering with Transportation Alternatives to encourage New Yorkers to choose bicycling as a sustainable way to travel to Broadway. Bike valet works like a secure coat check - drop off your bike, take a ticket, enjoy the show.

Bike valet will also be available for theater patrons as part of Back2Broadway month on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 11:30pm between September 9th and September 25th, on West 46th Street in the Marriott Marquis space just west of the hotel parking entrance. About Kelsey Grammer
Kelsey Grammer received a 2010 Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Georges in La Cage aux Folles , in which he currently stars.Broadway: Macbeth, Othello . Concerts: Sweeney Todd at LA's Reprise Series, Henry Higgins in the New York Philharmonic's My Fair Lady . Off-Broadway: Sunday in the Park with George (Playwrights Horizons), Plenty (Public), A Month in the Country (Roundabout) and Quartermaine's Terms .
